VSL First aid has been formed to augment the services provided by Velocity Scotland Limited to include First Aid for customers both existing and new.
 
We offer EFAW and FAW to all customers and extend our First Aid offering for drivers by including guidance on how to stay safe and manage a road collision incident if they are first on the scene until the emergency services arrive.
 
 
Our trainers are experienced, passionate and believe in the benefits of training to assist people in distress and if the worst happens being able to try and save someone's life. Backed up by over 18 years’ experience of delivering First Aid training they also have dealt with people needing hands on assistance.

●Musculoskeletal injuries
●Eye injuries

●Recognition and treatment of common medical conditions.
 
Course Length - 3 days
Certificate - Level 3 FAW valid for 3 years.
 
EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK
 
This course is ideal for anyone who wishes to have the knowledge and become an emergency first aider.
 
The participants will gain skills to deal with first aid situations in a low risk workplace environment or just basic knowledge.

●Scene safety and calling for help
●First aid boxes and record keeping
●CPR and recovery
●Control of bleeding
●Treatment of burns and scalds
●Minor injuries
 
Course Length - 1 day
 
Certificate - level 3 EFAW  valid for 3 years
 
 
Refresher and requalification courses are also offered to those coming to the expiry date of their existing qualification.
